For a split second they were in a desert. Able to see for miles in every direction with nothing in their way. Then, darkness again. Another flash of lightning. This time, the light didn't go away. But they weren't in the desert any more. They were on a rock, surrounded by crashing waves, in the middle of the ocean! The rock was only a couple yards wide and the wind was so strong, it threatened to knock them both into the churning water. He and Jackie crouched down and looked in the water. They could see a face, now two, now three. Rising to the top of the water, their eyes sunken in their skulls and their skin hanging off their faces. They sounded like they were saying something but it was so muffled by the wind you couldn't hear clearly.
"Jackie, can you hear them?" he asked.
"I don't know what their saying," Jackie responded.
Then the voices grew louder.
"Help us! Help us! Set us free!" The voices chanted.
"How?!" Yelled Jackie, "How do we help you?"
